Lament of the Slasher
*chants* I will not read Clark/Lex fic, I will not read Clark/Lex fic....

No, really, I won't. I need another fandom like I need several rabid iguanas to take up residence in my living room. I can't afford the DVDs. Last time I just 'dabbled' in a pairing, I ended up with a huge Spander monkey on my back. The last thing I need is a little Clex monster following me home.

So, this is me, going to bed, and NOT reading any Clex. *is strong*
I wouldn't know where to start, anyway...

who used to watch Lois and Clark, so she'd probably try to work Smallville canon in with that, and then the world would explode, so... yeah.

I've never even seen Smallville, but someone did a big multi-fandom Christmas vid that included them, and yeah. At least in those few clips, they seemed kind of hot.
But! Yeah, no, not going there...

I have a real weakness for the hero/villain dynamic, which probably says something disturbing about my psyche, but... yeah. I'm with you. Let's not go there, even if they have chemistry.

Interstitial

If I'm going to suffer, I'm bringing people down with me!

Evil woman! The first three paragraphs of "Interstitial" were lovely and intriguing, but I can't get into another fandom... *resists*

But it's so beautifully shiny! Everything of Punk's is!

Hi. Um. So, I've been reading the Clex since the show came out. So if you want any recs, I'm all over that.

*enablesenablesenables*

Also, I once started an attempt to write a Lois and Clark/Smallville crossover. I abandoned it before it actually crossed, however.

The nice thing about Clex is that it is 90% better than actually watching the show, which I had to stop doing a season and a half into it because it passed my level of entertaining badness.

In a way, that's depressing, but I feel the same way about the last six seasons of Stargate SG-1, so... yeah. Is the first season and a half worth it?

I am an enabler. It's what I do.

The crossover was doomed to failure because of the simple fact that I have only ever seen one episode of Lois and Clark before, and that one was in French. I had only read a rather excessive amount of L&C fanfiction. I don't remember what I was intending to do with it, but I guarantee it would have been lame.

I would watch the first two seasons... just, be ready for the cheese. and the anvils. and every cliche imaginable. And the hotness of Michael Rosenbaum.

Reading the TWOP summaries of it is pretty entertaining too.
